I've been a little busy and haven't had time to craft lately, but now that things have relaxed a bit, I hope to finish knitting this 1940s turban soon. The pattern works up pretty quickly, and the way that the hat is wrapped around the head makes it appear more complex than it really is.
Gloss DK (70% Merino Wool, 30% Silk) from KnitPicks is perfect for this project. Seed stitch is very well defined in this yarn, and the completed fabric feels so soft against the skin. I purchased it in fingering weight as well (a muted lilac color called "Velveteen") for a sweater that I plan to make this winter.
Also, if you have not done so already, please feel free to follow me on Instagram @thebunnystudio. :)
